| “We started using the EN-Chart product to help with three problems we were having, First we had a back log in the coding department for ER charts to be sent to billing of over 5 months, Second, we were not maximizing our ER Revenues from a supply or procedure charging due to lack of documentation, and the third issue dealt with being in compliance from a billing/coding standpoint for our technical and physician components. After installing the EN-Chart product, retaining staff and changing our internal procedures we were able to eliminate our backlog and currently we are releasing over 90% of our ER bills within our normal 5 day hold, the second accomplishment was an increase of revenue in our ER by over 20% from eliminating missed charges and capturing all actual treatment procedures for billing purposes and finally we have eliminated all compliance issues by doing all of our nursing coding independent from our physician coding. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the EN-Chart product in our Emergency Room.” |
